Henah Hannah

Henah Hannah founded both Veterans Media Corporation and its dedicated broadcast platform, The Veterans Channel, to create authentic, high-quality, and meaningful programming for veterans, active military, and their families. Her biography is defined by a passionate commitment to veterans’ welfare, which drives the entire mission of the media company. Her leadership ensures that VMC remains a purpose-driven enterprise, dedicated to uniting and empowering veterans through compelling, world-class media.

 

Henah serves as the Executive Producer and Director for all of VMC’s show series, episodes, features, and documentaries, maintaining a consistent vision and standard for the content. While she does not have a military background, her work is centered on humanitarian outreach and ministry to the veteran community globally, positioning her as a leading advocate and producer of content dedicated to their stories and healing.

 

Henah is also the Co-founder and Chair of Veteran Retreats Foundation. The charitable organization provides holistic retreat programs, at no cost, to veterans who are suffering with Occupational Stress Injuries (OSI) and their families. This charitable work forms the core ethical foundation of VMC’s media mission.

 

In recognition of her extraordinary initiatives and sustaining relief efforts for service members and the global veteran community, Henah was named to the Charity of the Year Award by Brilliant Minded Women in 2017. Her significant and positive impact on charity work constitutes a model for future charities to follow and enjoy acclaim by future generations. In 2018, Henah was chosen among one hundred women featured in Brilliant Minds of Canada Living Legacy.

 

She is a two-time (2020 & 2021) Gracie Award Nominee in the digital media category for her online programming and website. She also served as a judge for the 46th and 47th Annual Gracie Awards.

 

Henah was invested as a Dame of the Order of St George, Grand Priory of Canada & the Americas in 2019. In 2024, she was promoted to the rank of Dame Grand Cross in recognition of her extraordinary initiatives and sustaining relief provided to the men and women who have served in the Armed Forces as well as her significant contribution to the veteran community and meritorious humanitarian activities.

 

Born and raised in Canada, Henah resides in Southern Ontario with her three children.
